Quieting my brain is like wrestling with an alligator, focusing my thoughts is like falling down an escalator. I've got to find a way to get back home. Meet me tonight at that old cafe, the one we used to frequent back in the day . . . is it still there? I really don't care, because neither is CBGBs. Packing all my gear in the front seat of my Pinto, trying to get to Denny's before the sun comes up. I could live forever at the Fruit Bar. That dude is so moronic, he must be embryonic. He doesn't even know it, cause he's almost prehistoric. I'm living in the pages in a book about the middle ages.
